Philodendron fibrosum Type is an absolutely stunning aroid from Ecuador and the surrounding area. This Philodendron has lovely, heart shaped leaves and a slightly pubescent stem…slightly different than its cousin. The pubescence is hard…almost sharp! It's disc shaped leaves are what make it such an incredible centerpiece species! This Philodendron grows well in low to moderate light in its immature form, but its mature form usually requires brighter light / dappled sunlight. This Philodendron adheres well to backgrounds, driftwood, etc, and is a moderate growing species.

All of our cuttings have adventitious, aerial roots. Our rooted specimens will have at least a few active roots and will be established plants. Our plants are grown in high humidity in terrariums and greenhouses, therefore may need acclimation to the average home humidity / environment. Please contact us for acclimation information if you are not planning to use this plant in a terrarium, greenhouse, or humid room.

I love that you can use it for face, hands and body. It literally is just for moisture. Nothing fancy. The tin is recyclable. I take it everywhere. I keep a little tin in my car, my purse, my overnight bag. My face feels soft and supple even hours after using it. It’s just so lovely.
